Rev. Pedro Pires is married to Ruth Pires. They have a 20 year old son (André) and an 16 year old daughter (Linda). Pastor Pedro finished his training in theology in Lisbon, Portugal in 1986. He was the Host and Executive Producer of Christian Radio and T.V. programs. Carisma’s Lead Pastor was involved in evangelizing youth involved in drugs and crime related problems. He started his ministry in Lisbon, Portugal, he was a Youth Pastor in one of the largest churches at that time as well he established a prison ministry. He arrived in Canada in 1999 to pastor the former Portuguese Pentecostal Church of Edmonton.

Under Pastor Pedro’s leadership, Carisma Church planted several churches in Angola, Africa. Right now, we have about 20 growing and flourishing churches in Angola.

Pastor Pedro loves to spend time with his family, listen music, watch a good movie, skiing and share a good meal (Portuguese food) with friends. He loves to present the Gospel to people and help them to come into the Kingdom and reach God’s purposes for their lives.
