church. As a part of the Christian Church in Edmonton, we worship God
with gladness and in awe for all He has done for us. Through the Lord
Jesus Christ we have found peace, joy and fullness of life. We are
honored to share our church with you through this website.If you happen to attend 'in person' you will be made welcome because we
believe that Jesus was welcoming to all sorts of people and He is our
Lord and our example. There is a full program of activities, for all
ages, throughout the week.Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches are known for their exuberant praise
and the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Both of which are a part
of our normal worship. You may be unused to this, but we trust you will
be able see beyond our differences from other evangelical churches and
join in our rejoicing. We hope that you will come and visit us 'in person' and bring a friend.

Youth Ministries
Jason Fernandes has been attending Carisma Church since childhood and during the churches early days as the Portuguese Pentecostal Church. When he graduated high school he knew there was a calling on his life to enter into ministry but it wasn’t until the Senior Pastor Pedro came to the church that he received true encouragement to go after the calling God had for him. So he enrolled in the Bachelor of Theology with Youth Major at Vanguard College in 1999. It was here that he had the opportunity to grow and mature in Christ. Throughout Bible College Jason continued to minister at Carisma in Youth & Young Adult ministry as well as work along side Pastor Pedro preaching and teaching Sunday services, Sunday school and weekly Bible studies and prayer gatherings. After graduating in 2003 he asked his college sweetheart to marry and the next year after her graduation from Vanguard College in 2004 they married. They continued to minister together at Carisma Church in many different ways, fulfilling their calling to serve the Kingdom.
